The Woodbridge Project, a residential housing complex for Aboriginal Elders has been granted Development Approval.
The 11-unit housing complex supports Noongar Mia Mia’s goal of providing homes for Elders facing financial and housing stress, and is a significant step forward to ensuring these people have access to quality housing that reflects their dignity and heritage.
Comprised of seven two-bedroom and four studio units, the units will be delivered using the NXT® Building System, revolutionising housing standards for Aboriginal Elders. The two-bedroom units will feature open-plan living, a double-height void, and a second bedroom on the upper level designed to accommodate carers.
We are looking forward to seeing the project through to completion, and the positive impact it will have on the Indigenous community.
